Salary:$50,000 (BA, Step 0; based on 2025-2026 salary schedule)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Art Education or related field
Valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsement
Demonstrated successful teaching experience preferred
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging art instruction aligned to district and state standards
Foster creativity and artistic expression in a supportive classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
Assess and monitor student progress in visual arts skills and concepts
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities
Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive art classroom and studio space
Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
