Responsibilities
Perform a range of tasks from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts, utilizing hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools.
Proficiency in disassembling and prototype assembly.
Ability to interpret assembly drawings and perform sub-assembly tasks.
10 years of additional related experience in an aircraft or similar assembly environment.
Basic understanding and experience with various hardware, including nuts, bolts, and rivets.
Basic proficiency in using MS Office products.
Ability to view both 2D and 3D drawings on a computer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic experience with milling machines and/or lathes.
Familiarity with installing various bushings.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with up to 10% travel. Our team operates in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Bethpage, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
