The Logistics Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing warehouse and logistics environment, ensuring that materials and finished goods move efficiently while inventory remains accurate and delivery deadlines are met. This hands-on role spans inbound activities, inventory management, material handling, packaging, and outbound shipping, with the expectation that you will develop proficiency across multiple areas and eventually take ownership of at least one primary logistics function. You work closely with cross-functional teams, rely on ERP systems to manage transactions, and follow established procedures in a regulated manufacturing setting while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support daily logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and finished goods.
Receive, store, package, and ship products in accordance with established procedures and delivery requirements.
Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through cycle counting, investigation of discrepancies, and reconciliation activities.
Execute logistics tasks in alignment with job travelers, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
Perform ERP transactions in systems such as Epicor to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movements.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with customs and applicable regulatory requirements.
Process returns and RMAs, including coordinating repairs, replacements, and recycling activities when applicable.
Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support operational and customer requirements.
Meet daily operational goals and support the achievement and tracking of logistics performance metrics.
Identify process gaps, discrepancies, or inefficiencies and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support warehouse organization, optimize material flow, and promote adherence to 5S standards.
Maintain required documentation to support GMP, GDP, and other regulatory requirements.
Assist with cross-training and provide coverage across logistics functions as business needs evolve.
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business operations and team objectives.
Essential Skills
3+ years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations.
Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution processes.
Experience working in an ERP system, with Epicor strongly preferred and other ERP platforms acceptable.
Knowledge of GMP and GDP practices or prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with international shipping and customs requirements, preferably with prior practical exposure.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures, SOPs, and work instructions consistently.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting, including the ability to analyze and summarize operational data.
Solid general proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to support documentation and communication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in regulated or medical device manufacturing environments.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Experience with Epicor ERP/WMS, UPS WorldShip, or TrackWise.
Exposure to RMAs, reverse logistics, or sustainability initiatives.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S principles.
Strong data analysis skills and experience working with logistics and operational performance metrics.
Work Environment
This role operates in a combined office and production floor environment, with regular interaction between the warehouse, manufacturing areas, and office-based teams. You will primarily work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., collaborating within a logistics team of approximately eight people. The position requires periodic visits to the production floor to coordinate with production personnel and support real-time operational needs. Business casual attire is expected, and you will work with ERP systems, standard warehouse tools, and office productivity software in a structured, regulated manufacturing setting that emphasizes safety, organization, and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
