Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage school and municipal projects. This role requires strong experience in construction management and engineering, with a focus on project management and municipal design codes.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage public client projects, including school and municipal projects.
Oversee project management activities, ensuring compliance with municipal design codes.
Utilize MS Project or Primavera P6 for project scheduling and tracking.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Manage change orders and estimate project costs.
Prepare and review proposals for new projects.
Act as an Owners' representative in construction and public works projects.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including 8 years in a project management role.
Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6.
Knowledge of municipal design codes.
Strong leadership skills in managing public clients.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in higher education and K-12 construction projects.
Ability to manage project engineering tasks.
Skills in program management and construction estimation.
Work Environment
The work environment includes working from home and at construction sites, with occasional office meetings. The role offers the opportunity to grow within a large firm and potentially serve as an Owners' representative.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
