JOB SUMMARY

The Marriott Digital Cobrand team is seeking an experienced Web Product Owner to lead the experience definition, delivery, and activation of Marriott’s global digital credit card footprint. As part of Marriott’s broader Digital organization, this role plays a critical part in evolving and scaling world class digital credit card experiences that support the Company’s ambition to become the world’s favorite travel company.

In support of Marriott’s U.S. and international growth strategy, the Sr. Manager, Digital Cobrand Product Owner partners with business, design, analytics, technology, and other digital product leaders to define, own, and execute the roadmap for Marriott’s digital cobrand experiences across desktop and mobile web.

This role leads cross-functional, agile delivery teams and serves as the primary product decision maker responsible for translating customer needs and business priorities into high quality digital experiences and commerce capabilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, or similar role within web or digital products

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional agile teams in an enterprise environment

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, UX principles, and digital commerce experiences

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, influence stakeholders, and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment

  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on execution

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, a related field or equivalent practical experience/certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the travel/hospitality industry or credit card industry.

  • Experience with customer‑facing marketing or commerce websites at scale

  • Experience with accessibility standards, personalization, experimentation, and analytics platforms

  • Experience supporting global or international digital products

  • Experience with Adobe Stack – Workfront, AEM/AEP, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics

  • Scrum Product Owner, SAFe, or Agile certification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own and manage the Digital Cobrand Web & the supporting backend Digital Micro Services product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs

  • Define product vision, success metrics, and prioritized outcomes for web based cobrand experiences

  • Make informed trade off decisions across scope, timelines, and features to maximize customer and business value

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for product direction and execution across web initiatives

Agile Delivery & Execution

  • Translate business goals and customer needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items

  • Lead and participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Partner closely with engineering and UX teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across desktop and mobile web

  • Ensure features meet functional, usability, accessibility, and performance standards prior to release

Cross Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Design, Engineering, Cobrand Stakeholders, Analytics, and other Digital Product teams across the organization

  • Lead communication and coordination for all aspects of the digital cobrand roadmap related to web experiences capabilities

  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and outcomes

  • Function as a trusted product partner across a diverse and global set of internal stakeholders

Customer Experience & Data Driven Decision Making

  • Championing a customer first mindset, relentlessly seeking to understand customer needs and behaviors

  • Leverage data, analytics, experimentation, and user insights to inform product decisions and prioritization

  • Stay current on digital experience trends, web best practices, and evolving customer expectations

  • Drive continuous improvement of Marriott’s digital cobrand experiences over time
