Description
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.
BENEFITS: All eligible full time employees will receive Paid Annual Leave (PAL) starting at 23 days per year and raising by one day per year following one full calendar year of employment (January through December). They will also be offered health benefits and will be automatically enrolled in employer paid short and long term disability and life insurance.
All full time and part time employees have access to participate in the Delphinus Engineering 401(k) which includes company match of 25% up to 10% deferred.
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide engineering and technical services to include but not limited to: technology insertion; performance specifications; system integration; installation support; on-site technical support, and alteration/repair support services in support of surface fleet, submarine, and shore-based installations in support of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) machinery and systems support to the US Navy. This position will be on-site work only.
LOCATION: West Bethesda, MD.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support to Naval personnel with the removal, installation, modification, repair, and troubleshooting of various HM&E Systems and components.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain and maintain a security badge for all military installations and civilian shipyards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical,
Environmental, Systems Engineering, or System Safety
Engineering
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with the US Navy and environmental systems is preferred but not required
Secret Security clearance preferred.
Experience working with Environmental Systems is preferred but not required.
