Overview: Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is seeking Part-time Seasonal Security Dispatchers in Bethel, NY.
Security is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and performers while upholding the venue's policies and regulations.
As a member of our Security team at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, your primary purpose is to ensure the safety and security of all guests, staff, and performers throughout the event. You will play a critical role in maintaining order and preventing potential risks or incidents, fostering an environment where concertgoers can enjoy the music and festivities without concern. With keen observation skills and a proactive approach, you will patrol designated areas, monitor crowd behavior, and promptly respond to any disturbances or emergencies that arise. By enforcing venue policies and regulations with professionalism and tact, you will contribute to the overall positive experience of guests, enhancing their enjoyment and fostering a sense of security and well-being. Through your vigilance and dedication, you will uphold the reputation of our venue as a safe and welcoming destination for live entertainment.
Qualifications: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred. Strong observation and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple incidents and ensure efficient communication Physical fitness and agility to perform patrol duties and respond to emergencies as needed. Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and crowd management techniques. Ability to work evenings and weekends as per event schedule. Shift and Salary; This is a Part-Time Seasonal position, Monday-Sunday, 20-30 hours weekly, shift varies, $28.50 hourly
