POSITION SUMMARY
The US Assistant Controller will serve as the primary controller for our US legal entity while also supporting corporate financial reporting and global finance initiatives. This role is ideal for an accounting/finance professional seeking exposure to both operational controllership and strategic FP&A, with the opportunity to contribute to high-impact global projects
Reporting directly to the Global Controller, the US Controller will oversee the US entity’s accounting and compliance, support corporate consolidations and board reporting, and collaborate on process improvements across our international finance organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary.
US Controller Duties (60%)
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the US legal entity
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls
Oversee US accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors on US entity matters
Prepare and review management financial statements for the US
Corporate FP&A and Reporting (20%)
Support preparation of consolidated financial reporting packages, including board and management presentations
Develop and maintain variance analysis, KPIs, and management dashboards
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, with focus on the US entity and contribution to global planning
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decision making at corporate level
Global Finance & Transformation Support (20%)
Assist in drafting and rolling out global accounting policies and internal controls
Support integration of new acquisitions and harmonization of global finance policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
Specialized Skills and Experience:
8+ years’ experience in accounting/finance, ideally in a multinational or complex organization
2+ years of supervisory experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls; exposure to consolidation/reporting processes preferred
Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and reporting tools.
Advanced excel and financial modeling/analysis skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work across global teams
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
