Cheetah Chassis Corporation Experienced Blasters in Berwick, Pennsylvania

Cheetah Chassis is seeking a hardworking and safety-focused team member to join our production team in a Blasting position. This position plays a critical part in preparing trailer components for painting by removing impurities, smoothing rough welds, and ensuring surfaces meet quality standards.

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday--Thursday, 6:00 AM--4:30 PM, giving you long weekends most weeks. Overtime may be available based on production needs and can include early start times (as early as 5:00 AM), staying late, or occasional Friday shifts (typically no more than 8 hours and often ending by noon).

What You'll Do

  • Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and complete required checklists

  • Inspect hoses, couplers, wires, nozzles, and floor grating for damage or safety concerns

  • Clean equipment screens at the start of each shift

  • Safely move chassis into the blasting area in coordination with team members

  • Push and align chassis evenly onto rollers while maintaining awareness of pinch points

  • Identify and mark beam lettering for visibility during grinding and prep work

  • Grind twist locks and remove sharp edges to ensure smooth, paint-ready surfaces

  • Assist with opening and closing blast doors on both weld and assembly sides

  • Verify all team members are wearing required PPE prior to blasting operations

  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to push and pull materials for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

  • Ability to stand and remain on your feet for 10+ hours per shift

  • Comfortable wearing a respirator helmet for extended periods

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • A solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing setting that can be hot, dusty, and noisy. Safety is a top priority, and all required protective equipment must be worn.
