About the Role
As
Auction Listing Specialist, youll play a key role in preparing surplus government and commercial electronic assets for resale through
online sites such as Govdeals, HiBid and eBay. This position combines hands-on electronics testing with online listing responsibilities, ensuring assets are accurately represented and optimized for sale on the various online sites.
What Youll Do
- Test a variety of electronic items to prepare them for resale online
- Perform minor repairs using hand tools and basic mechanical skills
- Accurately document test results using internal software systems
- Create detailed and compelling online listings for GovDeals, HiBid and eBay auctions
- Photograph and describe items to maximize visibility and recovery value
- Work with a team to ensure quality and efficiency in processing inventory
What Were Looking For
- Interest in electronics and hands-on work
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with electronics, online listings, or asset recovery is a plusbut not required
