Stryker (Senior) Project Manager R&D (m/f/d) in Berlin, Germany
CMF's Patient Specific Solutions team specializes in mass-producing products that are entirely unique — each implant individually designed and manufactured to serve a single patient. As part of our Project Management Office for Patient Specific Solutions (PSS), you’ll play a key role in driving innovation that directly improves patient care. PSS is a highly innovative area and a continuous growth driver — a true cornerstone of the business. You will lead diverse teams, manage complex projects, and contribute to shaping the next generation of patientspecific products & solutions.
What You'll Do:
Work across a mix of hardware, software, and process improvement projects – managing initiatives that shape both our products andthe waywemanufacture.
Ensureseamless collaboration between R&D,ProcessDevelopment(AO),QAand other key functions.
Lead theteam with autonomy in the development of the project charter and management plan.
Direct, manage, monitor, and control projects. Evaluate tradeoffs within project scope, timeline,resourcesand budget.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope.
Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
Own the project schedule.
Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart.
Analyze criticalpath, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget
Monitor andmaintaincosts within budget.
Develop a risk management plan for the project.Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop andmonitora risk response plan.
Estimate,acquireand assign cross-functional project resources.
Facilitate alignment on roles, deliverables, and work packages acrosscrossfunctionalcontributors to ensure clarity and effective collaboration.In this role,you’llhave visibility across multiple functions and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions through strong project leadership and PMO best practices.

What You'll Need:
PMP or equivalent preferred
BS or equivalent & 3+ years of work experience . Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s).
High in emotional intelligence and stays calm under pressure. Adept in conflict resolution.
Drives results in support of the business, even under demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate.
Adept at team management selects the right people for the right tasks while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.

Familiar with agile project management methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and able to apply them effectively within a corporate environment typically driven by Waterfall processes.
Experience in balancing hybrid project approaches (Waterfall and Agile) to support efficient delivery of both hardware and software medical device projects is preferred.
Background in process development or process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is considered a plus
