If so, we want YOU to join our pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Floor Technician! You’ll play a crucial role in preparing prescriptions with precision and care, ensuring every patient receives the highest level of service.
What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations, supporting pharmacists and keeping our workflow running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Accurately filling daily drug orders with speed and efficiency under pharmacist supervision
Processing returned medications and handling them according to proper procedures
Prepacking frequently requested meds, labeling, and storing them during low‑volume times
Packaging materials and products to support overall pharmacy workflow
Pulling and picking medications from shelves, storage areas, and prepack racks
Applying labels to blister cards, scanning items for accuracy, and flagging issues
Collaborating with pharmacists to resolve scan errors or discrepancies
Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and restocking supplies
Adhering to all safety, HIPAA, and compliance regulations
Assisting with additional tasks as needed to support the department
Being available for occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays when required
What You Bring
A clear and active Connecticut Pharmacy Technician License
A steady, reliable work pace — accuracy is key!
Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
A high school diploma or equivalent
Your Work Environment
You’ll be moving and multitasking throughout the day — this is a hands-on, active role! Expect:
Intermittent sitting, standing, bending, and walking
7–10 hour shifts, with extended hours when needed
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs
Use of finger dexterity for equipment and labeling tasks
Visual focus for detailed work, including color and close-up vision

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
