We’re excited to offer an opportunity to step into a critical leadership role within R&D at Wyong, leading the Product Development (PD) team and shaping the future of our Mars Food & Nutrition innovation pipeline.
This role is central to delivering innovation , maintaining product performance and building a high-performing team — all while aligning closely with factory priorities to accelerate execution and impact.
What You’ll Do
Lead Innovation & Product Performance
Deliver the innovation and renovation pipeline while ensuring quality, performance and cost targets are met
Drive continuous improvement across recipes and consumer experience
Own Quality & Expertise
Ensure compliance across food safety, labelling and regulations
Leah the team of go-to experts on product formulations and standards
Lead & Grow the Team
Build a high-performing, engaged team of 5 Associates
Develop capability and strengthen the talent pipeline
Partner & Influence
Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Supply and Q&FS
Leverage global R&D and insights to shape the pipeline
Drive Strategy & Standards
Lead R&D systems, kitchen operations and technical governance
Build the Health & Nutrition strategy and drive future product direction
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in Product Development / R&D within FMCG or food manufacturing
A passion for food
Strong people leadership and team development capability
Ability to balance innovation with operational execution
Deep understanding of product quality, compliance and food safety
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Degree in Food Science, Engineering or related discipline
