Walmart (USA) Senior Manager, Asset Protection - Fresh Waste in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

As the Senior Manager, Asset Protection – Fresh Waste, you will be a key leader in executing Walmart’s strategic goal of reducing waste within our Fresh Departments (Meat, Produce, and Deli/Bakery). Reporting to the Director of Asset Protection, you will translate strategies into actionable programs that drive sales and minimize waste. You will manage the day-to-day implementation of waste reduction initiatives End-to-End (E2E), including supply chain, stores, merchandising, and transportation, ensuring operational excellence from sourcing to the point-of-sale.

What you'll do...

  • Execute Strategy: Implement the comprehensive Fresh Waste Reduction Strategy for Meat, Produce, and Deli/Bakery departments.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and field teams to identify and remediate the root causes of waste.

  • Process Optimization: Drive the automation and simplification of processes and control that identify or remediate waste.

  • Program Design: Develop targeted programs to improve inventory accuracy and optimize processes to reduce upstream loss.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and provide data-driven reports to senior leadership regarding strategic initiatives.

  • Training & Education: Create and deliver training tools to educate field associates on best practices for inventory management and waste prevention.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Production/Operations Management, or related field and 4 years’ experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience.
