Position Summary...
Lead the analytics modernization that powers Walmart Pharmacy Merchandising. As a Sr Manager, Advanced Analytics for Rx Merchandising, you will lead advanced analytics initiatives to support critical Pharmacy Merchandising needs and drive data-driven decision-making. You will focus on evaluating, modernizing, and innovating our extensive dashboard ecosystem, integrating AI tools, and ensuring robust reporting capabilities that translate complex data into actionable business outcomes. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on analytics leader who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, shaping strategy with business partners, and building scalable reporting and modeling capabilities that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and elevate the customer experience.
What you'll do...
Lead advanced analytics initiatives that solve complex Rx Merchandising business and technical problems.
Evaluate dashboards to determine value, consolidation opportunities, and modernization paths.
Reimagine workflows with an automation-first mindset, improving data integrity and reducing manual effort.
Translate insights into executive-ready recommendations and compelling business cases.
Build, coach, and develop an analytics team delivering end-to-end projects, models, and prototypes.
What you’ll bring...
Expert, production-quality SQL and strong data modeling fundamentals to support scalable reporting and analytics.
Proven experience modernizing and rationalizing large dashboard ecosystems (consolidation, governance, performance, and adoption).
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (or Tableau), including semantic models, DAX (as applicable), and executive-ready storytelling.
Ability to evaluate and apply AI-enabled analytics tools (e.g., CodePuppy) to replace manual workflows and accelerate insights.
Strong stakeholder partnership skills-aligning leaders on success metrics, tradeoffs, and roadmap priorities in a 4-in-the-box model.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising , or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area. OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
