Position Summary...
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading all aspects of operations within a high‑volume fashion distribution center, driving speed, accuracy, quality, and cost performance across a highly seasonal, SKU‑dense environment. This role ensures seamless execution from inbound receipt through outbound fulfillment while delivering exceptional service to stores and customers.
The GM provides strategic and operational leadership, develops top talent, and ensures the facility delivers on productivity, safety, financial, and service commitments—supporting brand integrity and customer experience at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Execution
Lead end‑to‑end distribution center operations supporting fashion, apparel, and accessories, including inbound processing, value‑added services, picking, packing, shipping, and reverse logistics.
Drive execution excellence in a high‑SKU, fast‑change, seasonal environment, balancing speed, accuracy, and presentation quality.
Own facility performance related to throughput, order accuracy, on‑time shipment, inventory integrity, and service level commitments.
Ensure operational readiness for peak seasons, promotions, and new product launches.
People Leadership & Culture
Lead, coach, and develop a multi‑layered leadership team while building a strong succession pipeline.
Create a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
Attract, retain, and develop top talent across all operational and support functions.
Foster an inclusive environment where associates feel valued, supported, and motivated to perform at their best.
Financial & Business Management
Own full P&L responsibility for the distribution center, including labor, expense controls, asset utilization, and cost‑per‑unit performance.
Develop and execute business plans aligned with seasonal demand, volume shifts, and growth strategies.
Analyze operational and financial results to drive corrective actions and efficiency improvements.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure consistent execution of quality standards that support brand presentation, product integrity, and customer experience.
Lead investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions for safety, quality, and service incidents.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across workflows, systems, and labor models.
Leverage technology, automation, and data insights to improve productivity, accuracy, and scalability.
Simplify processes and introduce new ways of working to support rapid change and growth.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Transportation, Planning, and Store teams to ensure alignment on volume flow, priorities, and service expectations.
Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Community & Brand Stewardship
Represent the distribution center within the local community and support company‑sponsored outreach initiatives.
Promote company values and uphold brand reputation through ethical leadership and community engagement.

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
