As a Software Engineer III at Walmart Global Tech, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building robust backend systems that power seamless digital experiences for millions of customers. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering robust solutions using .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, .NET Core) for the world’s largest retailer. You will work across multiple domains, contributing to the development of scalable services that are critical to Walmart’s digital platforms.
About The Team
As part of the Health and Wellness Pharmacy group, you’ll be responsible for implementing and testing code change required for special business requirements. You’ll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. What you'll do:
Design and implement core features to the Walmart Pharmacy Ecosystem.
Build components, libraries and services using .Net/C#, Entity Framework and WCF.
Influence and collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, design leads and the business to develop a unified approach to engineering.
Understand complex architecture and add any enhancements to the existing solutions.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
What you'll bring:
At least 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Experience in .Net/C#, SQL & NoSQL DB, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience in building data communication between back-end systems using Kafka
Experience with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP
Experience with telemetry and observability frameworks including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenObserve and ELK.
Experience with unit and performance testing of applications to increase resilience using technologies including Jenkins, MSTest, NUnit and JMeter .
Understanding of commercial business strategy and goals to solve complex problems with high impact.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09158: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
