Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Bensalem, Pennsylvania
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. This is an on-site position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including entries in the general ledger.
• Generate basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, to support decision-making.
• Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
• Prepare rental agreements and coordinate equipment deliveries and returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by processing timely payments to government agencies.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed. Requirements • Prior experience with accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks being advantageous.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Sage Business Works is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
