The Tutorial Center (TTC) is a nonprofit Adult Education and Literacy organization dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. We provide services including an Adult Diploma Program and GED preparation, college readiness, tutoring, workforce development, and English Language Learning (ELL). For over 50 years, weve been opening doors of opportunity for Vermonters of all ages.\ Currently we are looking for someone with experience to instruct non-English speakers a few hours a week.\ Key Responsibilities
\ Implement engaging lessons that develop students proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English.
\ Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate varying language levels, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds.
\ Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide individualized feedback to support language growth.
\ Scaffold instruction to promote comprehension and confidence in academic settings.
\ Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure ELL students receive equitable academic opportunities.
