Position Summary:
The Kit Maker is responsible for assembling, organizing, and preparing product kits according to work orders and specifications to ensure accurate and timely shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assemble product kits based on work orders and production schedules
• Accurately pick components and materials for each kit
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications before packaging
• Label and package completed kits for shipment
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials
• Assist with inventory counts as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
• Must be able to read a take measure to 1/16
Qualifications:
• Previous warehouse, assembly, or kitting experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented team player who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. They have previous warehouse, assembly, or kitting experience, can read and follow written work orders, and are able to take measurements accurately to 1/16 of an inch. Strong basic math skills, the ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30–50 lbs, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
