Description
Our client is seeking a sharp, entry-level Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with accounting or finance internship experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working with experienced professionals and valuable accounting software.

Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Prepare and enter journal entries
Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Perform data entry and maintain accounting records with accuracy and speed
Analyze financial data using intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies
Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Prior accounting or finance internship experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
Exposure to, and ideally hands-on experience with, accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
