Amazon Telecom Procurement Program Manager in Bengaluru, India

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Telecom Procurement Program Manager to coordinate global circuit ordering operations for corporate and customer service office locations. This role focuses on managing the procurement execution process by coordinating designed connectivity solutions through cross-functional approvals, order placement, and accurate inventory maintenance using Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms.

Key job responsibilities

Circuit Order Program Management

• Coordinate circuit orders globally based on designed solutions provided by engineering teams

• Place orders with telecom carriers across multiple regions

• Manage order forms and documentation coordination with legal teams

• Oversee order workflows in TEM platform

• Periodically obtain circuit quotes in a timely manner based on validated customer requirements

Cross-Functional Coordination & Approvals

• Coordinate necessary approvals from finance/business teams for circuit orders

• Partner with business stakeholders to confirm requirements and provide status updates

• Facilitate coordination with legal teams on contract terms and order forms

• Understand and interface with business partners regarding service order form Terms & Conditions

• Ensure circuit requests meet and comply with all Amazon policies and guidelines

Inventory Management & Invoice Auditing

• Update circuit inventory records in TEM system upon order placement

• Maintain accurate data across procurement and inventory management platforms

• Ensure inventory records reflect current order status

• Reconcile inventory updates with carrier confirmations

• Assist in supplier invoice auditing/inventory management

Program Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Provide regular program status updates to stakeholders

• Generate reports from TEM platform on order metrics and program performance

• Communicate proactively on delays/issues requiring attention

• Maintain documentation of order workflows and program processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience in stakeholder and communication management

  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

  • Familiarity with telecom circuits or network connectivity such as DIA or Ethernet

  • 2+ years Telecom Order Management or Procurement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

  • Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry
