Job Summary

ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and/or SecOps modules—particularly Vulnerability Response. Must be able to deliver complex implementations and build scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Job Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions across ITOM and/or SecOps modules.

• Drive ITOM initiatives including Discovery, Event Management, and Cloud Discovery.

• Create, test, and deploy Discovery patterns and configure MID Servers for seamless integration and automation.

• Integrate external systems (AWS, Azure, vCenter) to populate and synchronize CMDB data.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement CMDB Data Models (CSDM), ensuring data normalization and reconciliation.

• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other tools.

• Automate processes using scripting languages such as JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting), PowerShell, and Python.

• Gather requirements, define scope, and architect scalable ServiceNow solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications following best practices to maintain platform integrity.

• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with security standards.

• Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases and proactively recommend platform enhancements.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, Discovery patterns, and integration with external systems.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server configurations.

• Familiarity with CSDM and data normalization/reconciliation practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Good communication skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript (ServiceNow), PowerShell, and Python.

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, specifically in ITOM and/or SecOps modules (e.g., Vulnerability Response).

Certifications (Required):

• CSA

• CIS – VR/CIS- Discovery
