Honeywell Sr IT Architect in Bengaluru, India
This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, governance, and lifecycle management of master data domains including Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and Pricing across SAP and integrated enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC master data processes , enterprise data governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Manufacturing organizations.
This role is critical to enabling digital transformation, ERP modernization, and data-driven decision-making across Honeywell’s global operations
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Governance & Stewardship
Manage and govern enterprise master data across SAP and integrated platforms.
Partner with global data owners and business process leads to define and enforce data standards.
Maintain master data quality through validation rules, workflows, and controls.
Lead root cause analysis for data quality issues and drive corrective actions.
SAP & Enterprise Systems Support
Support master data creation, change, and approval processes within:
SAP S/4HANA or ECC
MDG (Master Data Governance) platforms
Integrated CRM, PLM, and Supply Chain systems
Ensure data consistency across enterprise applications and reporting systems.
Collaborate with ERP deployment teams during system upgrades, migrations, or transformations.
Data Quality & Controls
Define KPIs and metrics for master data quality.
Implement data validation, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
Support audit, compliance, and regulatory data requirements.
Establish preventive controls to minimize data defects and downstream impacts.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Participate in global S/4HANA deployments and data migration activities.
Drive automation initiatives for master data processes.
Support harmonization and standardization across business units.
Enable reporting and analytics by improving data structure and integrity
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Master Data Management within an enterprise environment.
Strong hands-on experience in:
SAP ECC or S/4HANA master data configuration
Material, Customer, Vendor, or Finance master data domains
Understanding of enterprise data governance principles.
Experience supporting data migration or ERP transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).
Exposure to data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, SAP Information Steward, Collibra).
Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, or highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with API integrations and downstream system dependencies.
Knowledge of data compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
