Honeywell Sr Advanced Software Engineer in Bengaluru, India
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in DevSecOps, Cloud platforms, and AI-enabled technologies to design and govern secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise solutions.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and modern engineering practices.
This role requires close collaboration with product teams, platform engineering, security, and cloud teams to define architectural blueprints, drive DevSecOps adoption, and enable AI-driven capabilities across the software delivery lifecycle.
Define and own end-to-end solution architecture across applications, platforms, integrations, and infrastructure.
Design secure-by-design architectures incorporating DevSecOps principles across build, test, deploy, and operate phases.
Architect and guide implementation of cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Establish architectural standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security automation, and observability.
Integrate security controls such as identity management, secrets handling, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into solution designs.
Leverage AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities to improve developer productivity, automation, monitoring, and decision-making.
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to define reference architectures and reusable patterns.
Participate in architecture reviews, design governance, and technical decision forums.
Guide teams on scalability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical architectures and solution roadmaps.
Mentor engineering teams on architecture best practices and modern cloud-native design.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud architecture, or solution architecture roles.
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, including:
CI/CD architecture and pipeline design
Security automation and shift-left security
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of application architecture patterns, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with AI/ML or Generative AI solutions, including use of AI for:
Developer productivity and code assistance
Intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, or automation
Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling ecosystems (CI/CD, security scanning, artifact management).
Experience with identity and access management, zero-trust, and cloud security architectures.
Exposure to observability platforms (logging, monitoring, tracing).
Cloud or security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Security-related).
Experience defining reference architectures and platform standards at an enterprise level.
