Software Senior Engineer
What you’ll achieve
As a Software Senior Engineer you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. The Dell Data Lake Team . Beginning with discovery and mapping of data sources, understanding their formats, cataloging these sources and data schema - we let customers understand their data landscape, both by building historical perspectives and allowing real time data change captures and cataloging these changes. Customer may choose consolidate business data in a data warehouse or data lake or keep disparate sources. We will enable customers to perform data lifecycle analytics to derive intelligence about data sources and business data characteristics.

You will:
Develop performance benchmarks andestablish KPIsfor performance,scaleand limits.
Analyzesystem bottlenecks across compute, storage, and network layers, andrecommend optimizations.
Collaborate with engineering teams toprofile performance,identifybottlenecks, and tune configurations.
Build andmaintainautomation frameworks for performance testing (e.g., using Python, JMeter, or custom tools).
Essential Requirements
5+years of related experience inperformance engineeringwith hands-on experienceonperformance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, or similar).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and cloud-native environments.
Solid understanding of networking, storage I/O, and compute resourceutilization.
Working experience with Operating Systems, Linux, familiarity with Structured,Unstructuredand semi-structures data fundamentals.
Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Requirements
Exposure to scale,limitand endurance testing techniques
Experience with profiling tools and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
