Senior Software Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving a mission-critical, internally built cloud orchestration and reservation platform used by thousands of engineers worldwide to discover, reserve, and manage virtual and physical infrastructure (VMs, switches, servers, storage arrays, PDUs, and more). You’ll focus on backend design and development standardizing patterns across a diverse, multi-year codebase, hardening service reliability and performance, and building robust integrations with infrastructure systems and enterprise workflows. Your work will improve developer productivity, strengthen operational excellence, and accelerate delivery across engineering teams.
You will:
Contribute to the design and architecture of new or modernized software environments
Prepare written software specifications based on architectural diagrams, design discussions, and technical requirements
Build and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation
Develop full‑stack features and services using modern front‑end and back‑end technologies
Implement highly reliable, scalable, and secure APIs and microservices
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality delivery, including code reviews, design reviews, testing, and continuous integration

Essential Requirements
5-8 years of professional full‑stack software development experience , with deep expertise in both front‑end and back‑end engineering
Strong proficiency with Java or another enterprise server‑side language (e.g., Node.js, Go, C#), including building microservices-based architectures
Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern UI framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS , RESTful API development, JSON, and XML
Experience building scalable, event-driven, or asynchronous architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent)
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, modern DevOps practices, and cloud-native development
Ability to design and implement complex software components with high quality, test coverage, and maintainability
Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka/RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, ServiceNow, Prometheus, Git, SonarQube, OKTA, Nest JS
Desirable Requirements
Experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting, integrations, and platform configuration
Exposure to IPAM solutions or network services automation
Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
Experience with GitOps and Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize, or similar tooling)
Exposure to Agentic AI / GenAI for workflow automation or intelligent developer tooling
