Honeywell Software Engr II in Bengaluru, India
We are seeking a Software Engineer II with strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies to join our backend development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and enterprise applications. You will work on building scalable APIs, integrating with databases, and ensuring high performance and security for mission-critical systems.
Design and develop backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core .
Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture for scalable solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
Optimize application performance and ensure security compliance.
Work with relational databases (SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework).
Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of professional experience in backend software development.
Strong proficiency in C# , .NET Core , and ASP.NET Web API .
Experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server) and LINQ.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
