Job Summary:
The Service Delivery Manager - Deployment works to ensure executional excellence and a supreme customer experience as they transition into PULSE Managed Services. The Service Delivery Manager - Deployment applies project management skills to coordinate deliverables, develop and manage timelines, ensure effective utilization of resources, identify onboarding project risks and effectively communicate internally and externally.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with account teams to gather necessary information to initiate PULSE Managed Services Onboarding.
Lead and maintain ownership of PULSE Managed Services onboarding projects start to finish.
Work with Management to identify appropriate engineering resources for new onboarding projects.
Take lead to ensure communication on onboarding project status, milestones, and next steps are clearly defined both internally and externally.
Craft formal communication and documentation that is professional and clear.
Lead meetings and communication that take place over the phone or video conference
Provide direction and feedback to project teams on assignments, goals, and timelines.
Ability to review and understand contracts and Statements of Work (SOW) and be able to make sure they are followed in full.
Procurement of project licensing & equipment
Monitor deadlines closely, escalate accordingly if problems are foreseen.
Manage time and resources and can be creative when scheduling conflicts arise.
Maintain accurate project information in standardized project management platform.
Handle customer service enquiries and escalate appropriately to appropriate internal PULSE Managed Services teams.
File project documents for archival reasons.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred but not required
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Preferred experience as a SDM or Manager from previous work experience
Manager of at least 18 months
Willingness to contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment
Communicate with all levels of management and company personnel effectively
Make decisions and solve problems while working under tight deadlines
Prioritize and organize successfully
Knowledge of ConnectWise Product Suite, Microsoft Application Suite, NetSuite, Microsoft Project or similar project management applications is a plus
