About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Development experience on Cloud platforms like Google Cloud and Kubernetes
Strong hands on with the Strangler pattern, API gateway Pattern, Aggregation pattern, CQRS, Event sourcing, Saga and Circuit breaker patterns
Should have working knowledge of Test Automation
Secure SDLC process
Bachelors in engineering or equivalent with min of 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE
should be strong at core Java, SOA/REST, Spring, Spring Boot, Multi-threading, design
patterns, SQL, Any RDBMS, Junit, Mockito, Git HUB, Gradle
Strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using React/Angular along with Java, J2EE, Spring frame works.
Should be strong at Angular, Microservices, Mongo Db, Kafka, TDD / BDD, PCF or any Cloud provider
Proficiency in using code analysis and debugging tools, Jenkins
Must be cognizant of review, testing processes
Should have knowledge on Event Driven Architecture, Test Automation
Should have working knowledge of scrum process of development
Should have strong communication and
presentation skills
Job Expectations:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyse complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Handle the development and delivery of Very critical highly visible initiatives
Enhancing existing Java/JEE applications in collaboration with various technical teams
Involve in the development process
Analyse the impacts on different modules
involved thoroughly before making any code changes.
Analyse and suggest best tool and Frameworks appropriate for the use case
Fixing Critical Production issues impacting multiple modules within the SLA time
Working in scrum team to develop features of the product in collaboration with the US teams
Always delivers high quality output
Instil best practices of software development and documentation technics within the team
Be inclined towards innovation and continuous improvement
