About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager, Solutions UI L2 product area within Workplace Services and Automation to lead end‑to‑product strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of critical digital platforms used by employees across the enterprise, with direct accountability for guiding senior software development teams delivering these products.
In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others
Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in digital product management or closely related roles
Proven experience owning and scaling enterprise‑grade digital platforms or employee‑facing technology digital products, platforms or software products
Strong experience working with senior software engineers and development teams in building complex, distributed systems
Solid understanding of:
Modern software architecture (cloud‑native, APIs, integrations, automation)
SDLC, CI/CD, quality engineering, and reliability practices
Ability to engage deeply in technical discussions and make informed trade‑off decisions (without being a hands‑on coder)
Demonstrated leadership in large, complex digital transformation programs
Strong leadership experience in large, complex digital transformation initiatives
Deep understanding of Agile and product operating models, including backlog management and delivery at scale
Experience working closely with engineering teams on software platforms, integrations, APIs, and automation
Strong data‑driven decision‑making skills, including use of metrics, analytics, and ROI to prioritize work
Excellent communication and executive‑level storytelling skills
Ability to operate effectively across business, technology, design, and risk functions
Experience in Workplace Technology, End‑User Computing, Productivity Platforms, or Enterprise Automation
Expertise in Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Nexus) and agile portfolio management
Strong understanding of API‑led architectures, platform strategy, and automation
Experience operating in large, regulated environments with strong risk and compliance expectations
Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to Design Thinking, Lean UX, and customer experience practices
Advanced certifications:
SAFe certifications
Product Management or Digital Transformation certifications
Executive education in product strategy or digital leadership
Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Job Expectations:
Act as a senior advisor to executive leadership, shaping long‑term digital product strategy, backlog, roadmaps, and investment priorities
Own enterprise‑scale digital products end‑to‑end, including vision, strategy, roadmap, backlog, delivery, and outcomes
Serve as Product Owner for assigned Level‑2 enterprise products
Define product success metrics , outcomes, and value realization aligned to business strategy
Lead and influence senior and lead software development teams responsible for designing, building, and scaling digital products
Partner closely with Engineering Managers, Architects, and Lead Engineers to ensure:
Sound technical design and architecture
Scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
Alignment to enterprise engineering standards and patterns
Translate complex business problems into clear technical and functional requirements
Provide product and technical clarity to teams operating in agile delivery models
Lead resolution of highly complex, ambiguous business and technology challenges spanning multiple domains
Drive large‑scale digital transformation initiatives, including automation and platform modernization
Translate business needs into clear product requirements, success metrics, and prioritized backlogs
Partner with Technology, XD, Automation, and Architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions
Influence across lines of business and senior stakeholders without formal authority
Balance value, risk, compliance, and technical feasibility in product decisions and ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and regulatory expectations
Provide thought leadership and direction on enterprise product management practices, agile ways of working, and portfolio management
Drive execution using Agile and scaled Agile frameworks, ensuring predictable delivery and quality outcomes
Balance features, technical debt, platform modernization, security, and compliance in prioritization decisions
Lead resolution of highly complex, ambiguous challenges spanning business and technology domains
