Primary Responsibilities:
Lead vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation activities across servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, and endpoints
Analyze CVEs and security advisories to determine risk, exploitability, and remediation approach based on business impact and technical constraints
Partner with security, application, and infrastructure owners to prioritize remediation and drive closure within SLA timelines
Execute and automate OS patching, software upgrades, and configuration hardening for Windows and Linux platforms
Implement and improve patch management and vulnerability remediation automation where feasible
Maintain accurate documentation of remediation actions, risk exceptions, and compensating controls
Support incident response and security teams during active exploitation events by providing remediation guidance and validation
Contribute to executive‑ready reporting on vulnerability posture, trends, and remediation progress
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Overall of 10+ years of experience
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, vulnerability management, or security‑focused operations roles
Experience using vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, or similar platforms
Solid hands‑on experience with:
Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) administration
Enterprise patching and upgrade cycles
Infrastructure vulnerability remediation workflows
PLM upgrades
Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Proven ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing remediation priorities
