Burns & McDonnell Senior Cloud Infrastructure Administrator in Bengaluru, India
Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Administrator with strong expertise in public cloud platforms, specifically Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands on experience administering cloud environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and managing identity services such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Administration (Azure & GCP):
Design, deploy, and manage enterprise grade solutions on Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
Administer core cloud services such as compute, networking, IAM, storage, and monitoring.
Support hybrid cloud integrations and cloud migration initiatives.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and maintain Terraform modules for automated provisioning and configuration.
Integrate IaC solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support repeatable and consistent deployments.
Identity & Access Management:
Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for authentication, authorization, and governance.
Implement policy based access controls and ensure compliance with organizational and security standards.
System Administration & Operations:
Oversee Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, logging, and disaster recovery strategies.
Qualifications
Primary Skills:
Hands on experience administering Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
Proficiency with Terraform and modern IaC practices.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security hardening, and governance.
Secondary Skills:
Working knowledge of identity management with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi cloud architectures.
Additional Skills:
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
Certifications (Preferred):
Azure Administrator/Architect certifications (AZ series).
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Engineer.
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
