We are seeking an experienced L6 Product Manager – Technical for WW Prime Core Services organization to define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Prime, with broad cross-organizational, cross-business, or significant technology impact for Prime. This role requires a strong product leader who can balance customer needs with technical feasibility, collaborate effectively across teams, and deliver innovative products that create measurable business impact. In this role, you will work with tech and business teams within Prime and across orgs in Amazon to drive innovative solutions for our customers. This role will give you an opportunity to learn a range of new systems and leverage the deep collection of product innovations and technologies throughout the company to achieve our vision.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

• Define and own product strategy and roadmap for Prime products serving millions of customers globally, driving decisions that impact Prime member acquisition, retention, engagement, and lifetime value

• Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to identify product opportunities within the Prime ecosystem (shipping, streaming, shopping). Make data-driven trade-offs between Prime member experience, technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and cost optimization

• Partner with Director-level stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to align product strategy with Prime's business goals and operational objectives

• Understand Prime member segmentation, behaviours, and competitive landscape to inform strategic product decisions

Product Development & Delivery

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, and optimization for Prime features and benefits

• Write clear product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical products at Prime scale

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and scalable solutions

• Define success metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to track product performance and iterate based on Prime member feedback

• Drive experimentation and rapid iteration to optimize Prime member experiences and engagement

• Engage with engineering teams on technical architecture, implementation approaches, system design, and technical debt management

• Evaluate new technologies and industry trends to inform Prime product innovation and competitive differentiation

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with technical products

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven track record of launching successful products with measurable business impact

• Strong technical background with ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

• Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions

• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in technical field

• Experience in e-commerce, subscription services, or consumer technology

• Background in data analytics, machine learning, or distributed systems

• Experience managing products at scale with large customer bases

• Track record of innovation and customer-centric product development

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product development practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
