We are seeking a Test Manager – Martech Platforms with strong expertise in modern web technologies and test automation frameworks , including Python and Playwright , to drive end‑to‑end, regression, and cross‑browser testing across digital marketing ecosystems. This role extends beyond traditional QA, requiring a consultative quality engineering approach , hands‑on leadership in automation strategy , and the ability to validate AI driven and data‑intensive systems . The Test Manager will partner closely with product, engineering, data, and marketing teams to ensure scalable, high‑quality digital experiences , optimize CI/CD‑integrated testing pipelines , and continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and platform reliability across Martech solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define the testing approach for large and complex projects, providing guidance on balancing automation and manual testing.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test infrastructure demonstrating Python, Playwright, and modern test automation procedures, supporting end‑to‑end automation, CI/CD integration, regression suites, and quality engineering at scale.

  • Research and implement emerging technologies and practices, such as AI driven testing and advanced scripting techniques, to enhance test automation capabilities.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess risks, and ensure that Testing solutions meet business objectives.

  • Mentor and guide QA team members and developers on procedures in software quality assurance.

  • Define and track key automation metrics and KPIs to measure progress, identify bottlenecks, and improve processes.

  • Apply advanced SQL skills to query databases for data validation and testing. Write complex SQL queries to validate data transformation and integration.

  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-testing of defects.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and provide testing insights.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Should have experience in Appraisals and performance reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with significant expertise in both manual and automated testing.

  • Good understanding of software development and testing methodologies, Estimations, tools, and processes.

  • Proficiency in test automation tools – (Python, Playwright, PyTest/BDD/Keyword driven/Robot framework)

  • Experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP tools) is a plus.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong database skills (SQL, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL).

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, VSTS).

  • Exposure to digital marketing platforms , customer data platforms (CDPs), or loyalty systems is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, AWS AI services, or similar).

  • ETL and Data warehousing skills/experience is added advantage

  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms (Adobe Experience cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GCP, etc.).

  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI practices.

  • Consulting experience or client-facing roles in martech or digital transformation projects.
