Honeywell Data Engineer II in Bengaluru, India
As a Data Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures and large-scale processing systems.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources.
Work with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
Proficiency in data warehousing tools and technologies (ETL, SQL, data integration)
Understanding of database management systems and data warehouse architectures

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with big data technologies and platforms, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
