Development, implementation and maintenance of cost-effective IM processes to capture information & data deliverables from Capital Project Teams to Operations, and to ensure the appropriate quality checks, information protection and statutory compliance have been applied to enable successful project handover.
The CMMS Engineer will be accountable for the support and administration of CMMS systems (JDE, SAP S/4 HANA) within the Chevron ENGINE Center. This role will align the relevant Equipment master information to the Facilities Integrity and Reliability Management (FIRM) Master Data Standards with a view to enable reliability and integrity innovation.
The CMMS Engineer will be required to:
Maintain and govern asset management data across SAP and related digital platforms.
Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices.
Support digital core projects, including design, build, and handoff sessions.
Provide data analysis and insights to improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
SAP MDG-EAM specific responsibilities:
Data /Template preparation as per SAP MDG-EAM master data domains.
Implement data quality rules and governance processes across various third party Data enrichment resrouces
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
Correspondence Management: Process all incoming and outgoing project correspondence efficiently
Metadata Management: Maintain and update metadata fields in the Master Deliverables Register
Status Reporting: Generate and submit accurate status reports at required intervals
Standards Alignment: Ensure compliance with document control standards and document any project-specific deviations
Support teams with data-driven insights
Ensure compliance with standard data governance and quality practices
Assist in developing simple data workflows and automation for routine tasks
Requirement:
At least 5-10 years of relevant CMMS Master Data experience required. Strong proficiency in CMMS products such as JDE with SAP or SAP4HANA is highly desirable.
Experience with Operations, Maintenance and Reliability within Industrial Complex Processing Facilities. LNG, Refining Petrochemical, Offshore Platform assets.
Degree or Trade Qualified in relevant Maintenance or Engineering or Data Science Discipline
Experience in Industry Data Standards including ISO14224
