Job Summary
Responsible for the daily inventory, receiving and distribution of supplies, equipment and/or instruments as directed by the department. Maintains inventory control procedures to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy. Demonstrates familiarity with the location of inventory within the department and across designated units. This position requires the ability to lift and move materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and involves frequent standing, walking, and material handling throughout the hospital. May assist with the procuring of rental equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Must be familiar with warehousing terminology and have a general knowledge of inventory systems and basic computer skills.
