Riverview Credit Union Member Service Representative/Teller in Belpre, Ohio

Job description:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Member Service Representative (MSR).This position could be scheduled to work in any of our offices as needed.

Job Purpose:

The MSR is the "face" of Riverview and is expected to create a welcoming, friendly environment for current and potential members as soon as they enter the doors or begin drive-through transactions. MSRs also process a variety of financial transactions for members and provide information about Riverview's products and services.

Key Job Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Present an overall professional image in the areas of dress, communications, and conduct
  • Greet and welcome members to the credit union
  • Provide first-class member service on a consistent basis
  • Ability to balance a cash drawer and process transactions quickly but accurately.
  • Promote, explain, and cross-sell Riverview's products & services and current promotions to current and potential members
  • Answer phone calls in a timely manner
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to identify member needs and maintain and support the credit union philosophy.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Preference will be given to individuals with prior teller experience.

Math skills sufficient to calculate and process transactions

Excellent customer service skills

Strong basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment (calculator, copier, fax, etc)

Internet proficient
