Job Title: Robotic Weld TechnicianJob Description
The Robotic Welding Programmer is tasked with creating and maintaining robotic welding programs. This role encompasses program creation, support, and improvement, part selection and development, design improvement recommendations, and providing training on robotic and automation operations.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain robotic welding programs.
Provide support and improvement for existing programs.
Select and develop appropriate parts for welding processes.
Recommend design improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Train staff on robotic and automation operations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in automation, robotics, and robotic welding.
Experience in welding, programming, and robot programming.
Practical knowledge of weld symbols and quality assessment.
Competence in Allen Bradley PLC Programming.
Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor 3D CAD.
Robotic weld cell operation experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding certificate, technical degree, or equivalent.
Robotic weld programming experience (ABB preferred).
Familiarity with PLC programming (ABB preferred).
Experience in sheet metal fabrication, forming, cut-to-length, and press brake operation.
CWI or welding engineering certification is a plus.
Work Environment
Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility that became fully operational in January 2025. The company is in growth mode, increasing production capacity to tackle larger orders for fleets and expanding its market share. The team includes three design engineers, one mechanical engineer, one sales engineer, with plans to add another design engineer. There are also five mechanical engineers, two CNC laser programmers, and two robotic welders, with plans to add two more. The facility is at the forefront of technology and processes, focusing on product and process improvements and aiming for involvement in government and military contracts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
