ManpowerGroup RD&A Technician in Beloit, Wisconsin
Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking an RD&A Technician to join their team. As an RD&A Technician, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting Dairy Beverage Applications. The ideal candidate will have curiosity about science and food production, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: RD&A Technician
Location: Beloit, Wisconsin
Pay Range: $24-25 per hour
Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
Support R&D team by preparing samples for internal and external use, focusing on high protein dairy beverages
Assist in lab tasks and pilot plant runs, including weighing ingredients, blending batches, and bottling finished products
Gather data, organize lab activities, and support sample preparation under supervision
Operate pilot scale food production equipment and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Participate in troubleshooting and applying scientific methods to resolve processing issues
What's Needed?
Technical degree and/or associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to measure, scale, and blend ingredients for dairy beverages (15kg batches)
Basic understanding of physics, food processing technologies, and HACCP principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and data organization skills
Comfortable working in laboratory and pilot plant environments, with physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
