Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling high-quality products on a production line by following detailed work instructions, using hand and power tools, and operating test equipment and workstation computers. You will rotate through different stations on your assigned line, handle both small and larger components, and ensure that all products meet strict quality and safety standards in a clean, climate-controlled facility.
Responsibilities
Work on an assigned assembly line and rotate through various stations as needed to support production flow.
Assemble parts into finished products by following detailed work instructions, using tools, fixtures, and established procedures.
Perform mechanical and sub-assembly work using hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Handle and assemble small parts by hand with attention to detail and precision.
Use test equipment to verify that products meet quality expectations and other required standards.
Visually inspect parts and finished products for defects such as scratches, dents, slugs, pinched wires, and other nonconformities.
Use a workstation computer to read production schedules, match parts to work orders, view work instructions, and scan parts into inventory software.
Work with insulation materials on certain assembly lines while properly using provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to facility rules and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of assembly or production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Hands-on experience using basic hand tools for assembly tasks.
Ability to safely operate and work with power tools for mechanical and sub-assembly work.
Mechanical assembly experience, including working on an assembly line.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production schedules.
Basic computer skills to use workstation software for viewing instructions, schedules, and scanning parts into inventory.
Strong attention to detail for visual inspection of parts and finished products.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support consistent production needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, assembly, or general labor roles.
Willingness to learn new tasks and rotate between different stations and departments as needed.
Interest in developing skills that can lead to opportunities in other areas such as welding or maintenance.
Comfort working with insulation materials while using appropriate PPE.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with line associates and support staff.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.
