Job Title: Painter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Painter experienced in powder coat painting within a blast booth environment. This role involves paint preparation, mixing, and the use of spray guns to ensure a high-quality finish. The job requires working with supplied air while painting and being comfortable with heights as tasks may involve elevated positions on tanks. This is a physically demanding position that involves managing hoses weighing 30-40 lbs and wearing a protective suit weighing 15-20 lbs.
Responsibilities
Perform powder coat painting in a blast booth.
Prepare and mix paint according to specifications.
Utilize spray guns for industrial painting and spray paint applications.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed when using supplied air systems.
Comfortably work at heights on top of tanks.
Handle and operate 30-40 lbs hoses while wearing a 15-20 lbs suit.
Essential Skills
2 years of experience in powder coat painting.
Proficiency in paint preparation and mixing.
Experience with spray guns and industrial painting techniques.
2 years of experience in blasting.

Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift, working from 4:30 pm to 3 am on a 4-10 schedule, with occasional Friday work. The work environment requires steel-toed shoes, and eye and hearing protection, catering to roughly 80 employees. The facility is designed to support a comfortable and efficient workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
4-10 schedule - try to not work OT but currently working some OT Growing company - they build parts for Data centers, which that industry is taking off In the Iron works district - connected to a golf simulator and bar. Their other facility is Brand new facility with tons of space, great lighting, new machinery and high ceilings. They plan to move everything to the new building sometime over the summer of 2025 80 person shop with a lot of growth discussions to get over 100 employees Laid back environment Extremely competitive pay for the market Direct Hire $1 for 2nd shift Annual raises: Don't do a lot of annual raises, they would bump people up throughout the year Benefits and insurances: $500 deductible for medical - company pays 65%, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k Vacation: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2, can get an extra week per year based on attendance Company outings: Christmas part offsite, full dinner, open bar, door prizes, lunches every 6 weeks. Pay: $24 + $1 - Paint lead is making $32
