About the role

As the head of customer applications, you will support our commercial teams and beverage R&D teams to bridge the gap between stores and lab. You will help bring to life the in-store operational experience for chains and brands to be able to make it across their networks and build their beverage business. This is an integral role in the development of beverage solutions to the industry and will focus primarily on our foodservice channel. You will be working with the biggest brands and emerging brands across tea, coffee, refreshing and nutritional beverages to leverage the very best in Kerry's capability to execute foodservice beverages.

What will you do?

  • Serve as the knowledge and centre of excellence for beverage in-store execution to support our commercial teams to deliver for our customers.

  • Create and lead LTO programmes with our foodservice customers to drive growth, profitability and a point of difference for the channel.

  • Overall leadership and responsibility for the in-store Application Function.

  • Be a hands-on leader, showing through action and outcomes for your own projects to lift up other's accounts.

  • Lead interaction and workflow between project team functions making it easier and more valuable for our customers to do business with Kerry.

  • Support continued improvement in our NPS score through leadership in beverage design and in-store execution

  • Stay well-informed of changes in the competitive landscape to enable design of differentiated beverage solutions and positioning customized to our portfolio.

  • Lead with R&D team to deliver overall cross-functional excellence and consistent ways of working to ensure our work delivers results

  • Lead thought leadership in Beverage Applications to support our aspirations to be the go-to supplier of choice for beverage solutions.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Food Marketing or Business/ Business Management.

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in beverage creation and execution in-store across a store network.

  • Must have a strong technical background in Beverages from a Taste / Flavour and/or Beverage Solutions environment to be able to understand consumer needs and be the link to R&D.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, comfortable presenting to small and large audiences.

  • Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Active team leader, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities.

  • Availability to travel up to 50%.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $146,800 - $261,000 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
