Pay: $30–$35 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in the Beloit, WI area for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This school-based role supports students with diverse needs by delivering high-quality OT services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and passionate about helping children succeed in the school environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services according to student IEPs
Support development in:
Fine motor skills
Sensory regulation
Visual-motor integration
Functional and adaptive skills
Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising OT
Collect data and accurately document services and student progress
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Assist with screenings and evaluations as directed
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Travel within the district as needed (Float Role)
Qualifications
Required
Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Assistant License (WI DSPS)
Graduate of an accredited OTA program
Successful completion of the NBCOT exam (COTA credential)
Ability to pass required Wisconsin school background checks
Preferred
Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
Strong communication and documentation skills
Comfort working in a collaborative, school-team environment
