*Summary: *
The Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician (FSQA) with conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of the production processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications and international, federal and state regulations.
Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures.
Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities and quantities inspected or graded.
Applies proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
Audits production facility and reviews employee behavior for proper sanitation.
Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Production/QA Management.
Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities to production.
Identifies work related problems and recommends effective solutions as appropriate
Maintains a working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
All other duties as assigned.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $20 to $28 per hour.

Minimum Requirements
*Minimum Qualifications: *
- A minimum of 1 year experience in food processing.

*Preferred Qualifications: *
- 3 years of experience in food processing.

``` - 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance in a food processing facility.
