Description Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Summary: Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. EssentialFunctions: Plan and assign work of subordinates. Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestionswith regard toprocedures,standardsand equipment tofacilitatework andmaintainproduct quality. Analyzefacts or circumstances surrounding individual problems todeterminewhat action should be taken within the limits of standard practices. Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records. Investigate anddeterminethecause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures. Keepsthemanager abreast of significant issues or developmentsidentifiedduring quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation. Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates. Maintain andorganizeFSQA documentation, including SOPs, HACCP plans, GMP records, and audit reports. Ensuretimelyupdates and version control of all FSQA documents. Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing required documentation. Collaborate with FSQA team members to ensure documentation reflects current practices and regulatory requirements. Monitor document compliance with FDA, USDA, GFSI, and other applicable standards. Assistin training staff on document control procedures and FSQA systems. Digitize and archive records for easy retrieval and long-term storage. Identifyopportunities for improving documentation processes and systems. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. Acquireknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions. Notify designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awarenessand orSafety training. This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of$32 to$39 per hour. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Minimum Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs. Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
