Trident Seafoods Corporation FSQA SUPERVISOR BELLINGHAM PLANT in Bellingham, Washington
Essential Functions:
- Plan and assign work of subordinates.
- Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
- Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
- Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
- Keeps the manager abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
- Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates.
- Maintain and organize FSQA documentation, including SOPs, HACCP plans, GMP records, and audit reports.
- Ensure timely updates and version control of all FSQA documents.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
- Collaborate with FSQA team members to ensure documentation reflects current practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor document compliance with FDA, USDA, GFSI, and other applicable standards.
- Assist in training staff on document control procedures and FSQA systems.
- Digitize and archive records for easy retrieval and long-term storage.
- Identify opportunities for improving documentation processes and systems.
- Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
- Acquire knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
- Notify designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and or Safety training.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $32 to $39 per hour.

*Minimum Requirements *
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
- Working knowledge of HACCP regulations, Food safety and audit procedures
- Experience with GFSI schemes (SQF, BRCGS, BAP, etc.)
- Three to five years supervisory experience in the Quality Assurance field

- Similar industry experience preferred
