Dewaard and Bode Delivery Driver in Bellingham, Washington
DeWaard & Bode, Whatcom, and Skagit county's largest, local appliance and mattress retailer are hiring! Our growing business is actively seeking new team members to join our Delivery department. If you are a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual, we want you to join our team!
This individual will work in a team to coordinate routes, load and secure products, then deliver products to customers' homes throughout Whatcom & Skagit Counties!
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Delivery and installation of appliances, mattresses, etc to customer locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload vehicle and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate inventory of merchandise
- Provide exemplary customer service
Wage Rate is $23-30. In this role, you'll have the opportunity for growth, and the ability to increase your compensation.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma preferred Clean driving record Must be willing to undergo a drug screening Must be able to work a 40 hour work week, this job offers the potential for overtime Proven work experience in a warehouse setting Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift, and other warehouse tools and equipment. Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs
