Description
Amazon is building the largest EV fleet and charging network in the world as part of our Climate Pledge. We're looking for a Sr. PMT to develop the vision, tenets, and strategy for our software products for charging operations, and build repeatable processes for roadmap and P0 requirement development. The ideal candidate will also be hands-on in developing product prototypes, iterate through product ideas and develop business automation solutions for Amazon's global electrification efforts. You will be highly customer obsessed, have managed hardware/software products, and worked on teams with multiple interdependencies (including third party vendors and developers). You'll have experiencing in launching multiple global software products and developed/prototyped solutions yourself in a consumer or industrial application and leading a program end-to-end with a large team of stakeholders. You'll be joining a fast-paced team building global products from zero-to-one.
Key job responsibilities
Establish a vision, boundary and shape for software products that manage charging operations at scale
Drive organizational alignment to that vision across geographies and business unites
Develop cadence for roadmap development and multi-year planning
Write creative, high quality, long term product requirements and roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
Build mechanisms for receiving customer feedback and measuring product performance in the field
Develop and iterate on product prototypes that help with product definition and business vase justification
Develop automation solutions around the product ideas to scale Amazon's electrification efforts.
A day in the life
You'll start the morning by drafting, reviewing and commenting on a PRFAQ for a new charging optimization software idea. Then, you'll meet with an external vendor to discuss development progress towards an important new set of energy management features, diving deep with engineering teams on a key technical requirement. In the afternoon, you'll work on a document outlining an annual roadmapping and requirements planning process. Your last item of the day includes using AI to prototype ideas, create product mocks, and automation business workflows.
About the team
The Electrification Automation & Software team is responsible for accelerating Amazon's WW Last & Middle Mile electrification and facilitating the successful transition of our delivery fleet to achieve net zero-emissions in support of The Climate Pledge. We define the electrification software product needed to manage a rapidly scaling fleet, develop or source solutions to meet those needs, and manage the performance of our charging infrastructure post-installation. We are relentless evangelists for our products and technology solutions, and the positive impact they will have on our internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Experience working in EV electrification and software product development.
Experience with prototyping and hands-on software implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
